Description
WST-S28-BX4E-xx series single mode transceiver is a small form factor pluggable module for bi-directional serial optical data communications such as 25GBASE-BR40 Ethernet and CPRI Option 8/10. It is with the SFP28 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C. The transmitter section uses a 1295 / 1309 nm EML laser with TEC and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section uses an APD-TIA. The Tx and Rx are with an embedded rate selection clock data recovery (CDR) IC for 25G/10G operation.
